Jarod Nielsen's profile

Pleased to meet you!

Hi, if you haven't met me yet, I'm Jarod Nielsen and it's nice to meet you. If you do know me, hello again. The project I created here is for a Graphic Processes class. I used conventional analogue and digital photography to communicate parts of my identity. If you would like to see my process or some of the original files I used for this project, you can go to my Dropmark here.

On the front page, you'll see my signature, my email address, and 3 words describe me.
On the other side, there are 2 objects that I've arranged in an order I thought was pleasing to the eye, and both are sentimental to me. They are both pins; the flower looking one was given to me by my aunt, I saw it in a store once and she got it for me. Every time I wore it, it made me feel more comfortable in my skin. The other pin that looks like a feather was given to me for Christmas by my other aunt, she noticed how I like to style myself and got me that pin to wear on special occasions.
Last part of the project is the back. On the back, it's a portrait of myself using two pictures of me, one more casual and the other more professional looking. Throughout the project, I could only use 2 hues, the first one I chose was blue because it's my favorite color, then I picked orange as the second hue because blue and orange are complementary colors and I thought it would look nice.
